zinzani creates portraits and abstract paintings. if you like her style but want something created that’s not available in the shop, submit a request for a custom canvas painting. if you have the idea, that’s perfect; if you don’t, that’s okay too. zinzani will talk it over with you to get a clear understanding of what you’re looking for to ensure you’re satisfied with your painting.
zinzani will not duplicate any of her own pieces or recreate someone else’s work. if you find an art piece you like, she may or may not be willing to create something vaguely similar. please allow room for the artist’s own expression.
pricing varies based on size, complexity, production time, and if the artist has to develop the idea for the painting. portrait paintings consisting of more than one face will incur an additional fee per face.

HAND-PAINTED GRAD CAP
have an idea for your graduation cap? submit a customization request below. if you have no idea what you want for your cap, unfortunately zinzani will not develop a concept for you. try searching for inspiration on pinterest or speaking with friends and family before submitting a request. if you have an idea but it’s not fully thought out, she can work with you to finalize it.
pricing for painted graduation caps range from $80-$120 depending on complexity. if you would like 3D embellishments like adhesive letters or bows, that will be an additional charge.
am i required to make a deposit?
yes. a nonrefundable 50% deposit is required to confirm your slot and for the artist to begin. the remaining 50% (plus shipping if applicable) is due after completion of the painting but before retrieval. the client must pay the remaining balance within one month after the artwork is finished. failure to do so will result in an additional charge for late payment. failure to pay within six months will forfeit the client’s right to own the artwork. the artwork may then be sold to an interested customer at full price.
can we set up a payment plan?
definitely. if you think there is a possibility that you may not be able to pay within a month following the painting’s completion, we can set up a payment plan. this plan will allow an additional month or two depending on the price of the painting and the need of the client. a 50% deposit will still be required up front but the remaining balance can be divided into two or three additional payments each a month apart. the client must inform the artist of the need for a payment plan before the painting is finished. if the painting is already done, the request for a payment plan will not be accepted. payment plans are only available if the service price exceeds $200.
how soon should i request custom art?
as soon as possible. it depends on the intensity of the project. as soon as it comes to mind we suggest reaching out, even if you’re not 100% sure that you want to proceed. it may be a busy time and contacting the artist sooner gives you a better chance of your request being fulfilled. for hand-painted clothing, custom grad caps, and digital illustrations we recommend at least one month in advance. for canvas paintings and drawings about two- six months in advance depending on the size and complexity. the artist may or may not accept your rush order. if she does, you may incur a rush fee.
can i provide my own canvas to make the price of my painting cheaper?
unless it is an uncommon size, we recommend allowing the artist to purchase the canvas to ensure good quality. if you have a canvas or think if would be more cost effective purchase your own, you can provide your own canvas only if you are able to meet in person to ensure the artist is willing to use the canvas you have. the canvas price deduction varies based on size.
for custom grad cap art do you need my graduation cap?
it is recommended to provide the graduation cap but it is not required. a grad cap topper can be made instead of painting directly on the cap. in this case the client will be responsible for acquiring the necessary adhesive to secure it to the cap.
