Patterns of Rebellion is a declaration of individuality and cultural pride featuring a Black man enveloped in patterns and adorned in gold. The paisley pattern—unruly and rhythmic—echoing the spirit of those who choose to be wholly themselves in a world that demand otherwise. The gold chain—each link, connecting the ancestors and the present by honoring the African gold symbolism of status, spirit, and sacredness. Now, for Black America—a crown, reimagined.

This is a soft rebellion, a hymn to nonconformity.
